Beyond The Mango

Bradford’s world cinema festival has been resurrected as Beyond the Mango and was officially launched on Friday, November 1, 2013 at the National Media Museum. Special guest star was Samina Peerzada, the actress, director and producer who flew in from Pakistan to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from programme director Irfan Ajeeb.
Beyond The Mango has been revived by Reel Solutions. The team of Bill Lawrence, Syima Aslam, Irfan Ajeeb and Tony Earnshaw was largely responsible for creating the festival in its previous incarnation, Bite the Mango, which ran until 2008.
